 Looks promising but problems with alarm functionMar 14, 2011

This is a great watch - at least in theory. Very readable dial and all of the features I was looking for: day/date plus a second time zone and an alarm. Problem is the first watch that arrived from Amazon was defective. The alarm kept turning itself on. The dial in the upper left corner controls the alarm on/off and provides an indication of battery life. The battery was also quite low when the watch arrived, which may be part of the problem. I am used to watches arriving with the watch off, so as not to drain the battery - but this one came ticking away. Makes me think this one was already returned. I like the watch enough that I am going to try again - great price for a nice watch. Update to follow.
3/16/11 Update: True to their great customer service, Amazon refunded my credit card the same day they received the defective watch. Having looked at other reviews of similar multifunction Wenger TerraGraph watches, there appears to be a problem with short battery life (no more than one year) and frequent problems with the control buttons and dial indicators malfunctioning. This watch has been discontinued by Wenger (per their webpage), so they are probably off-loading their remaining stock. I think I am going to spend a few more bucks and instead buy a Tissot or Seiko.

I searched long for a watch and chose this one. I have NO regrets at all. It's gorgeous and I feel like I stole it with this amazing price through Amazon. This is a high quality watch for a very good price.

Excellent product. The only thing I dislike is the alarm pointer and dual-time pointer should be reversed to make it easier to see the 2nd time zone.

I got this watch 2 months ago and have been holding off reviewing it until now.
A fantastic watch. Looks very classy/expensive. Not too big a face. Incredibly light and comfortable on the wrist. The luminous hands are the brightest i have encountered. No problems with the alarm so far and most importantly keeps great time. I hope it lasts me for years as its one of the the nicest looking watches out there.
